Green Tea Souffle Swiss Roll


resep ini didapat dari buku Okashi (Sweet Treats Made With Love) karya Keiko Ishida. pas baca resep ini, ngerasa aneh gimana gitu dengan metode pembuatan kuenya,, hihihiii tapi hasilnya nyumm nyummm yummyy,, segerrr gimanaaa gitu hehheee,,, kemaren pas hidangin untuk hubby dan Faatih cake ini aku dampingi dengan strawberry smoothies,,, nyumm nyummm seger deh untuk summer,,


Ingredients:
1 egg
3 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla

35 gr unsalted butter
60 gr top flour, shifted twice (aku pake all purpose flour aja)
5 gr green tea powder (matcha), shifted with flour

60 gr fresh milk

3 egg whites
85 gr castor sugar

100 gr whip cream
2 tsp castor sugar
strawberry (aku pake sekitar 5 buah dicincang kasar)


Method:
1. preheat oven 180 deg Celcius. line 11" suare cake pan or 28x28 cm with parchment paper.
2. combine egg, egg yolks and vanilla in a small bowl and beat lightly. set aside.
3. place butterin a small saucepan and heat gently until melted. add flour to melted butter and cook through. transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl, then add egg mixture a little at a time with a spatula till a smooth batter. add milk and mix to incorporate. strain the batter and set aside.
4. whisk egg white (aku pake mixer aja) in a clean bowl and beat it until foamy. add half of the sugar and continue beating for a few minutes, then add remaining of the sugar and beat it untill stiff peak.
5 add 1/3 meringue into egg mixture and fold it lightly, then add remaining maringue and fold it till just incorporated. pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a scraper. bake for 20 minutes.


6. when is done, remove cake from the pan and place in a big plastic bag to cool (aku pake plastic wrap)
7. whip the cream and sugar in a chilled mixing bowl till stiff peak
8. spread the whipped cream on the cool souffle and sprinkle chopped strawberry all over the cake. then gently roll it up into swiss roll. chill to set before serving. (aku biar rapi bagian pinggir2 kue yang rada kecklatan aku potong sebelum kue digulung)
